Key Account Manager (electrical/mechanical engineering)

Currently for our Finnish Client - Promeco - a globally operating solution supplier of demanding electromechanical systems and services, we are recruiting for the position of:

Key Account Manager (electrical/mechanical engineering)

You will be responsible for the management and development of an account relationship, satisfaction and retention. Your working place will be located in Gościcino (next to Tricity) in Poland.

On this position your main tasks will include:

  • Implement sales strategies, operational plans and strategic initiatives to meet the business objectives.
  • Create a strategy and account business plan to manage the account.
  • Set financial and operational objectives for the account, forecast and conduct account reviews
  • Create pricing structure and strategy for the account.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate and win opportunities / prospects.
  • Implement account planning process and a good working relationship to enhance higher customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure proper hand over to engineering and /or production.
  • Monitor planned KPI’s and progress of growth and profitability.

We expect you to have:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc degree in Science (preferably Electrics or Mechanics), additional education in Business or Business administration considered an advantage.
  • Experience in marketing and sales related position
  • Proven track record of delivering results in account management.
  • Good understanding of the either marine or railway industry and knowledge of electrical or mechanical products, their values, positioning and target customers.
  • Good understanding of electrical or mechanical specifications and other related technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and analytical thinking are essential.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Fluent English, other languages such as Finnish, German and Polish considered an advantage
  • Willingness to travel mainly in Europe
